Michael A. Chandler, 53

Michael A. Chandler, 53, of Post Falls, passed away at his home on Dec. 1, 2014.

Born Dec. 2, 1961, in Boise, Idaho, to Richard M. and Kyoko Tokunaga Chandler, Mike graduated from Mountain Home High School class of 1980 and served in the Air Force for four years. Following his service he worked for Hewlett Packard in Boise before moving to Post Falls and working at Esterline Corporation.

Mike enjoyed all sports especially college and professional football. Fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Nathan Chandler of Boise; his parents, Richard and Kyoko of Post Falls; brothers Jim (Kristine) of Coeur d'Alene and Don (Christiana) of Burke, Va.; nieces Leah Chandler of Boise, Carly Chandler of Coeur d'Alene and Jessica Chandler of Moscow, Idaho; and nephew Henri Chandler of Burke; his uncle, Leslie (Susan) Chandler of Boise and several cousins; an aunt and cousins in Japan.

Father, Brother, Uncle, Son. Mike will be forever in our hearts.

Burial will be in the spring with services at the National Cemetery in Boise.
