POLICE: Blessed are the body cams

The body cams that citizens have recently been demanding that police officers wear may very well turn out to be an officer’s best friend — and a suspect’s worst nightmare.

Citizens and the courts will have the opportunity to see the tremendous restraint, courtesy and tact officers use in their encounters with suspects, and in ordinary actions with citizens.

At last, the false accusations of racism and police brutality will be shown to be false. In addition, officers may have evidence of perjury, false reports and possibly other charges.

It must be very difficult to have to listen to witnesses who are sworn to tell the truth lie about you, especially racist witnesses in racially charged incidents!

I hope that those in law enforcement will find body cams to be very good friends.
