| December 3, 2014 1:00 AM

Few holiday traditions shine as bright as The Coeur d’Alene Resort Holiday Light Show.

In its 28th season, the light show is now in the running to be named the best public lights display in the nation.

To earn the top honor — a USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice award — the Coeur d’Alene light show needs your vote.

The Lake City’s festive glow of holiday displays has already been recognized by USA TODAY as one of the top 20 light shows in the United States. Selected by the national newspaper and Deborah Norville, host of Inside Edition, the top 20 nominees are considered “the best, biggest and brightest” light shows in the nation.

You can help push Coeur d’Alene into the No. 1 position.
