Shoulder work to begin on Highway 41 Tuesday

RATHDRUM - Crews will begin shoulder and ditch work on Highway 41 beginning Tuesday at milepost 16 from Nursery Lane in the Rathdrum area, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Crews will be working through Sept. 5 and the following week Sept. 8-12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes or expect delays as long as 15 minutes in the construction zone.

Signs will be displayed at the junction of Highways 41 and 53 and at Highways 41 and 54 to remind drivers of the work.

ITD advises drivers to use caution in the area.
