BEARCAT: Poor spending decision

A $335,000 BearCat is expected to arrive at the end of the month — an 8-ton armored personnel carrier “Response Counter Attack Truck” built with steel armor and ballistic glass. WOW, what a way to spend public money, “the confiscated dirty drug money.”

Never mind that the Pentagon is giving these beasts to local law enforcement for FREE. Never mind we need more help with drug addiction treatment. Never mind we need more help dealing with mental health issues that are a part of the drug addiction cycle of crime and despair. Never mind, that the rest of the nation is re-evaluating the militarization of local law enforcement. The rest of my comments are unprintable.
