Nominations sought for Coeur d'Alene Mayor's Awards in the Arts

COEUR d'ALENE - The deadline to nominate a business, organization or individual for one of this year's Mayor's Awards in the Arts is approaching fast.

The last day to submit a nomination is Sept. 5.

Nominees should have distinguished service and have made a significant contribution to the arts in Coeur d'Alene.

They need not be residents of Coeur d'Alene.

For nomination forms, contact Amy Ferguson, Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission staff support, at 666-5754, pick up a nomination form at City Hall, 710 Mullan Ave., or download a form from the city's website at www.cdaid.org.

The Mayor's Awards in the Arts will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Hagadone Event Center.
