Pinto, Indians stop Hops

HILLSBORO, Ore. - Eduard Pinto hit a two-run home run in the second and finished with three RBIs to help the Indians beat the Hillsboro Hops 7-4 on Sunday night in Northwest League baseball before 4,194 at Ron Tonkin Field.

Seth Spivey, Luke Tendler and Josh Morgan also had RBIs for Spokane.

Jordan Parr homered for Hillsboro (20-10, second half).

Spokane (11-19) hosts Salem-Keizer (18-12) tonight at Avista Stadium at 6:30.
