Kootenai Democrats to sponsor 'Les Mis' opening night

COEUR d'ALENE - The Kootenai County Democrats have bought out the house for the first performance of Lake City Playhouse's production of "Les Miserables," which opens Sept. 11.

This is the fourth year the Democrats have sponsored the event and said in a press release they look forward each year to ushering in the first show of the season at LCP.

The evening will begin at 6:30 with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar on the lawn outside the theater. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be one intermission, at which time additional beverages will be available.
