THEATRE: Earns a standing 'O'

This season I had the pleasure of attending both musical productions offered by the Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre with my family at the Kroc Center. They were fantastic! In a time where many of us see loads of video, there is something rare, precious and thrilling about experiencing live performance.

“My Fair Lady” was better than I’ve ever seen it, and the relatively new creation of “The Addams Family” was extremely witty, imaginative, and superbly played and produced. My daughter asked whether every community has such an amazing theater. I think anyone who experienced the performances this season and knows something about professional theater knows the answer. Coeur d’Alene is special, and the Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre is another huge reason why this is true. A big thanks to CST for all that you continue to do in Coeur d’Alene!

I recommend that anyone who hasn’t seen “The Addams Family,” go see it and support CST. There are also a number of other events still to come this season listed on the website. Do yourselves a favor, and enjoy some outstanding live theater in Coeur d’Alene.
