SERVICE: UGM will be beneficiary

| August 20, 2014 9:00 PM

Sept. 12 will be the beginning of ACES Community Services, a division of Providence Human Services, annual tradition of giving back to the community, in our first International Day of Service Event. Union Gospel Mission has been kind enough to partner with us for this event and allow us to help them celebrate a phase completion in their residents’ treatment. ACES will be providing a barbecue dinner for UGM residents, their families and staff members to celebrate their treatment progress.

Through the aid and direction of Providence Human Services Corporation, the International Day of Service on Sept. 12 is an event that will be occurring throughout the nation with the focus of engaging and giving back to our communities; in our event we will be celebrating individuals from all walks of life overcoming stigma and affliction to get closer to completing their treatment and life goals.

We are very excited and honored to be participating in this volunteer service event, as well as to be coordinated and partnered with Union Gospel Mission. The health and progression of our communities is hinged on all of us working together, collaboration among community partners and finding the time to celebrate steps forward in life. We hope this event inspires hope, happiness and encourages others to give back to their communities.
