Morgan RBI lifts Indians by Tri-City

SPOKANE - Jose Trevino doubled leading off the bottom of the sixth inning and came around to score on a single by Josh Morgan as the Spokane Indians beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 1-0 in a Northwest League game in front of a sold-out crowd of 7,025 at Avista Stadium on Saturday night.

Richelson Pena struck out five over six innings for Spokane (10-13 second half), which lost to Tri-City (11-12) 1-0 in Pasco on Friday.

Adam Parks threw a perfect ninth for his third save of the season.

Tri-City finished the game 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position. The Dust Devils and Vancouver are tied in the North Division, with Everett and Spokane each a game back.

The teams continue the three-game series today at 3:35 at Avista Stadium.
