ANGEL: A gift to North Idaho

There is an angel amongst us. This angel has for years given her heart and soul to help those in need. Selflessly she has found housing for the homeless and vets. She has generously found food and clothes for the impoverished. She has intelligently sent the physically and mentally challenged to the right care providers to help overcome these problems.

She is God-sent to help us.

Thank you, Patty McGruder. From everyone you have helped, and from all of us whose life you have touched.

We won’t say “Goodbye,” we’ll say, “See you later.”

I can’t ever see you not helping and caring for those in need. Although you are leaving the outreach program of Heritage Health, I know you’ll still be out there doing what you do: Helping others.

Happy retirement. You deserve it.

I think we all need to thank God for Patty McGruder.
