Vincent 'Punk' Young, 80

"Lived my life

Pretty much the way I wanted

Can't do that anymore

So ... guess it's time to go"

Vincent "Punk" Young died peacefully on Aug. 8, 2014, at Hospice House in Hayden surrounded by family.

Punk was born April 3, 1934. He loved to fish, play cribbage, and go to yard sales.

He was controversial to the point of being humorous; that, and he, will be missed by many.

Punk is survived by his son, Aaron; sisters Bonnie Young Geren and Dana Jolin; and many nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no service. Remembrances in Punk's honor may be sent to Hospice House, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815.
