Cedeno lifts Indians at Dust Devils

PASCO, Wash. - Diego Cedeno hit into a go-ahead RBI groundout in the top of the ninth inning on Thursday night, as the Spokane Indians beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 3-2 in Northwest League play, in front of 2,908 at Gesa Stadium.
Cedeno grounded to short, which allowed Isiah Kiner-Falefa to score the run from third for Spokane (9-12 second half).
Tri-City is 10-11.
In the top of the eighth, Cedeno scored the tying run after Josh Morgan was hit by a pitch by Tri-City reliever Dylan Stamey.
Shane McCain earned the win in four innings of relief for the Indians, allowing one hit while striking out seven.
Spokane lost 8-7 in 14 innings to Tri-City late Wednesday.
The teams wrap the three-game series tonight at 7:15 in Pasco, Wash.
