School group honors Goedde

The Idaho Association of School Administrators honored Sen. John Goedde, R-Coeur d'Alene, at its leadership conference awards luncheon held Aug. 5 at the Boise Centre.

Goedde received the association's Distinguished Service Award, which provides special recognition to those who have significantly affected public school education. Goedde was nominated by Region I superintendents, who said they appreciate that Goedde has consistently listened closely to the issues, concerns and perspectives of the educational leaders in his region.
