SCOTTY: Thanks from the heart

| August 13, 2014 9:00 PM

Fiancee, family and friends of Scotty Shawver want to thank all the following people who helped in the recovery of his body from Lake Coeur d’Alene.

The Kootenai County Sheriff marine division and dive team and the volunteers working with them for putting in so many long hours on the lake, in difficult conditions. They put in more than 400 man hours of time and effort.

A huge thanks to Eric Rouse and his lovely wife Brandy of Get Wet Diving. After working over eight hours in the lake for their living, they made themselves available to go to Stevens Point and make another exploratory dive to help in the location of Scotty.

A huge thanks to the residents at Stevens Point. The witnesses from shore were the ones who provided information to aid in approximate location of where the accident occurred. They opened their houses and docks to Scotty’s friends. Their compassion and understanding was beyond words. Huge thanks to everyone who sent out prayers of support to all involved and for recovery of Scotty. Again, thanks. God bless you all.
