Indians pitchers hurl combined no-hitter

EVERETT, Wash. - Luke Tendler hit a three-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to lift the Spokane Indians past the Everett AquaSox 3-0 in Northwest League baseball Sunday before 3,868 at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Spokane starter Derek Thompson went five innings, striking out five and walking one. He was relieved by Shane McCain, who also fanned five in three innings of work. Adam Park got the win, going two innings with three strikeouts, and Luis Pollorena got the save, pitching the 11th with one strikeout and one walk for a combined no-hitter.

Seth Spivey doubled with one out in the 11th and Jose Trevino was intentionally walked to bring up Tendler, who hit his ninth homer of the season for the Indians (7-10 second half), who play at Everett (8-9) again tonight at 7.
