Christina Kay Hopper, 29

Christina Kay Hopper, 29, of Athol, passed away Aug. 4, 2014, in Coeur d’Alene.

Christina was born Dec. 28, 1984, in San Bernardino, Calif. She moved to Athol in 1991. She attended Post Falls High School and later earned a certificate as a medical assistant.

Christina loved fishing and snorkeling.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Betty Hopper; and her cousin, Jesse James. Christina is survived by her children: Sky Eden Hopper-Girard and Jackson James Hopper; her parents, Ricky and Lisejean Freed, and Sam and Sharon Hopper; sisters, and brothers-in-law, Jacklyn and Jeremy Guerin, Shelly Hopper, Heather and Emanuel Petruescu, Tiffany and Tyler Glick, and Ashley and Ashly Deveney.

Visitation will be from noon to sunset, Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
