COEUR d'ALENE - A man was arrested Saturday afternoon following the investigation of a YouTube video depicting an adult male being attacked by another in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse.

The Coeur d'Alene Police Department reported that it discovered a YouTube video Saturday, titled "Crazy guy at Texas Roadhouse," which was uploaded July 30. It depicts a male citizen being assaulted and battered by a male suspect with a swastika tattoo on his chest as he is leaving the restaurant with his family. The video was taken by the victim's wife on her smartphone and uploaded to Youtube. The police were not contacted the night of the incident.

Upon viewing the video, officers started an investigation. They located the assailant after 3 p.m. Gary Edwin Dixon, 41, of Victorville, Calif., who currently lives in Post Falls, was taken into custody and booked into the Kootenai County Jail on charges of battery. Dixon claims he has no ties to any gangs or white supremacy movement.
