Don and Jan Larson
55th Anniversary
Don and Jan Larson celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on July 25, 2014. They were married, July 25, 1959, in Audubon, Minn.
They have three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Don works for Ace Hardware and Jan is a cancer survivor. They're the best parents and grandparents ever.
Jim and Jennifer Custer
50th Anniversary
Jim and Jennifer Custer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 3, 2014. Jennifer met Jim in Spokane, his hometown, while she was skating with Ice Capades and the show played at the Coliseum during Christmas time. A year later Jim joined the Ice Capades and they were married in 1964 in Phoenix, Ariz., Jennifer's hometown.
During their skating years they purchased lake property on Lake Coeur d'Alene and enjoyed their summer vacations at the lake. They continued skating and touring as a married couple for the next five years before returning to Jim's hometown of Spokane.
After their skating days Jim and Jennifer continued to work together and started their business, Jim Custer Enterprises. They retired from the business in 2002 and now spend their time between their lake home on Lake Coeur d'Alene and Palm Desert, Calif.
Their daughter, Cheryl and her husband Clint Branz now own and operate Jim Custer Enterprises. Son Christopher and his wife Amra reside in Juneau, Alaska.
Jim and Jennifer celebrated their anniversary with a cruise.
