SAILORS: Dinged by verbal broadside

On April 18 Russell DiBiase wrote a letter regarding Americans paying more taxes. He referred to the way the federal government spends money like “drunken sailors.” During all our wars, sailors gave their lives to protect Americans including Mr. DiBiase, and I think that he owes an apology to all sailors — past, present and future.

May I suggest that he substitute “spending like drunken politicians?”
