Jim F. Coveney, 77, passed away at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on April 28, 2014.

Jim was born in Dixon, Calif., on July 6, 1936, to Jim and Marion Coveney. He attended school in California, and married Darla Dees in 1955. Jim worked for Blackburn Truck Lines for several years until opening his own trucking and warehousing business in the early eighties. Jim and Darla moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2005.

Jim was an avid fisherman. He belonged to North Kootenai Good Sam’s Club and loved the outdoors and camping.

Jim is survived by his wife, Darla; son, James; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers, David and Virgil; and sister, Carolyn.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 5, at Mountain Lakes Bible Church, 2215 N. Seventh St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with Pastor Dave Bruyette officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.
