Judith M. Ferguson, 74
Judith M. Ferguson, 74, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away April 25, 2014, at the Hospice House in Hayden.
Judith was born August 17, 1939, in Lynwood, Calif., to Charles and Marie (Hauenstien) Jessup. She married John D. Ferguson while he was in the United States Air Force.
Judith was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. She was also a lover of animals. Judith had two girls. The oldest, Ann White, was born while they lived in Germany. They lived there for three years and traveled to 13 countries while stationed there.
When the family returned to the United States, they settled at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, where Judith went to Handcock Junior College. She earned a degree in early childhood education, and ran and taught in many schools throughout the U.S. Judith was also trained as a Red Cross Director Assistant at two air force bases. She worked at a big flower and seed company in Paso Robles, delivering flowers all over California.
Judith's second daughter, Macreen Ferguson, was born in 1963 in Biloxi, Miss. Marceen has three children: David Ferguson, Randy Montgomery and Te’Ata Montgomery, born in Rose Robles, Calif. There is one great grandchild, Tanner, and an older girl, Annabell. All of Judith’s children and grandchildren loved her, and they were the most important part of her life.
Towards the last few working years, Judith worked with groups of developmentally disabled adults and really enjoyed this aspect of her life. She had a severe group of between five and six that she spent many hours with teaching and helping out through their life cycles. This was the most rewarding of all her jobs.
Upon her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bell Tower Funeral Home, and you may view her on-line memorial at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com.
