CATS: Deal with feral felines

As a resident of Coeur d’Alene for 70+ years, I feel compelled to write concerning feral cats. The recent articles about the cute little kittens in L.A. reminded me of our own problems. The cat problem in our city may not be as bad as theirs, but we still have one. Even what we consider to be “family pets” frequently use my flower beds and vegetable garden as their own personal toilet.

I fear the articles in The Press are priming us for an influx of California’s problem. Hopefully we will not be duped into receiving any of these critters. Thank you for letting me express my opinion.
