Theresa Chariton, 58

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and grandmother, Teresa Ann Chariton, was called home on April 10, 2014.  

Teresa was born March 28, 1956, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Eugene Lee and Shirley Dietz. She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1974 and married her high school sweetheart, Ken Chariton, on March 15, 1975. They established a wonderful life together with their three children: Lindsey, Brooke and Cameron.

Theresa had a love for life and enjoyed spending time with family, which included camping, family vacations, rafting, crafts and just enjoying each other’s company. She openly welcomed her sons-in-law, Nathan and Jason, into her family. Theresa cherished the gift of her grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Zack, Elijah and Aubrey.  

Theresa is survived by her parents, husband, children, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and sisters: Cheri (Dietz) Boni, Leeann (Dietz) Kimball, and Jan (Dietz) Johnson. She passed away surrounded by all of her family who loved and cherished her. 

The Lord has welcomed Theresa and told her “well done good and faithful servant!” Until we meet again, we will celebrate her life and await the day we are all reunited.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 17, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene with Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, in care of the arrangements. Burial will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
