DEE: Put out the fire in her life

When my mother was younger than Dee, she lost her mother and everything she owned when her house burned down. She took that pain to her grave.
Dee has had a fire in her life. She has lost not only her mother and everything she owns, but extended family and lifelong friends. Her entire world is gone. The difference is that my mother’s pain was caused by an accident that no one had the power to control. Dee’s has been intentionally inflicted by the very people we taxpayers have paid to protect her.
Horrible!
