Cd'A girls second at Mountain West Classic

MISSOULA, Mont. — Coeur d’Alene sophomore Emily Callahan finished seventh out of 375 runners at the Mountain West Classic on Saturday at the University of Montana Golf Course.

Callahan finished in 17 minutes and 57.41 second for the Viking girls, which finished second with 97 points. Bozeman won the girls team title with 46.

Freshman Caitlin Conway also finished in the top 20 for Coeur d’Alene, finishing 19th in 18:33.38.

Makena Morley of Bigfork won the girls race in 16:43.42.

Jake Finney was the top local finisher in the boys race for Lake City, finishing 10th in 15:41.05.

Coeur d’Alene’s Riley Estes was 15th in 15:45.61 and Kyler Little of Lake City was 19th in 15:51.95. Lake City’s boys were eighth.
