Pauline Landy, 85

Pauline Alberta Landy Heideman Tresidder, age 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born April 29, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to LeRoy Montross and Pauline Tuft Landy. In 1947 she married William Charles Heidemann in Inglewood, California. They had one daughter, Cheryle. They were later divorced, in 1949. On August 6, 1949 she married Charles Leland Tresidder in Carson City, Nevada. They raised four daughters and were later divorced. Pauline grew up in the Venice and Santa Monica, California, raised her family in Merced, California then moved to the Coeur’d Alene, Idaho / Spokane, Washington area. As her health declined she came to live with her daughter, Cathy in Logandale, Nevada. She worked as a waitress, dental assistant, clerk in the audio/visual department for the Merced School District and later as a bus driver for the Coeur d' Alene School District. She enjoyed teaching children in the LDS church, going to the Temple, doing genealogy work and gardening. She will be remembered for her generous nature and kindness to neighbors and family. Survivors include her four daughters: Cheryle (Ronald) Hahn of Livermore, CA; Cathy (Jim) Davis of Logandale, NV; Caren Stewart of Fresno, CA; Carla (Jeff) Adams of Overton, NV; 26 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Louise (Haines) Waite of Santa Ana, CA; James (Carolyn) Landy of Fresno, CA; Clifford (Jeannie) Landy of Ventura, CA and Veva (Russell) Smith of Jackson, CA; Winnie (Danny) Grieve of Dillon, CO. She was preceded in death by two great granddaughters; Kaitlyn and Malulani Davis, 1 great grandson, Joshua Jared Whittle and one brother, LeRoy Montross Landy, Jr. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013, 3:00 PM in the Monroe City Cemetery, Monroe, Utah. Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2013, 6:00 PM at the Moapa Valley Mortuary and again for one hour prior to the graveside services in Monroe.
