PAUL VALADEZ, October 30, 1959-September 20, 2013. Paul Valadez ended his battle with diabetes on September 20, 2013 at his home in Post Falls and went to join his Lord and Savior. Paul was born in Jacksonville, FL to his parents, Paul Valadez and Mary (Scott) Valadez, who reside in Victorville, CA. One of Paul's proudest accomplishments in serving the Lord was his participation in a very popular Christian rock band called Adam Again from 1982-2000. If you go to the band's website you will see all of the people sad to lose a very talented bass player for the band and also a great disciple of the Lord. Paul will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor that came out of nowhere sometimes; his unique laugh; and his kindness; but most of all for his love of the Lord. Paul was a talented musician whose large beautiful voice belied his quiet humble manner. He was a worship leader for several years at various churches in California and Idaho. Paul also spent service for his Lord in many nursing homes in both states sharing his love of God, his beautiful voice, and exceptional guitar skills. Until the last year when his health was giving out on him, he also filled in for worship services at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Pinehurst, and Newport, Washington as well as helping out with meals for benevolence at the Post Falls campus. Paul worked for many years in the Los Angeles area for Jet Delivery, and sometimes had to be reminded by his wife not to drive like he was still in California. He also worked for 10 years for Center Partners in Post Falls and made many friends there. Paul is survived by his wife, Roxann (Brockway) Valadez of Post Falls; his sister, Cynthia (Richard) Holland of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; brother, Robert (Deena) Valadez of Palm Springs, CA; sister-in-laws, Gayle (Ralph) Noyes of Post Falls, Vicki (Bob) Harris of Pine Bluff, AR; Barbara (Matt Padula) Brockway of Atlanta, GA, and Tricia Brockway of Cummings, GA; brother-in-law, Dale (Theresa) Brockway of Kalkaska, MI; son, William Boltze of Fort Collins, CO; daughters Katy(Bennett) McKinley of Wheeling, WV, and Sierra (Nick) Balsara of Fort Wayne, IN; 2 very special grandchildren, Louis Brock McKinley and Delilah Balsara; niece, Sara Valadez; nephews, Robbie and David Valadez. Paul also had a very special relationship with his niece, Christina Mendez, who he thought of as a daughter. Paul also had a wonderful support with his home group from Real Life ministries who helped us thru this difficult time from providing meals, to sitting and praying with us at the hospital. Please come and celebrate Paul's life with us at Real Life Ministries at 18866 N. Cecil Rd., Post Falls, ID at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 30, 2013.
