Police investigate bicyclist death

BOISE (AP) - Police in Boise are investigating the apparent hit-and-run death of a bicyclist whose body was found on a sidewalk.

A woman called 911 at 8:30 a.m. Thursday to report there was a man lying on the sidewalk with a bicycle nearby. Responding officers found the man was dead.

An investigation led police to believe the man was struck by a vehicle early Thursday, before sunrise.

The Ada County Coroner's Office said 53-year-old Victor Haskell of Garden City died of blunt force trauma.

Police are looking for anyone who may have seen the collision.
