Jesse Paul Dunn, 83

Jesse Paul Dunn, age 83, passed away at Meadow Lake Village in Meridian, Idaho, on Monday September 23, 2013. Jesse was born in Peoria, Oklahoma, on April 29, 1930, to Archie and Tina Dunn. Jesse spent his childhood in Oklahoma with his parents and siblings. He moved to Wallace, ID at age 16 where he worked in the silver mines. He later moved to Coeur d'Alene with his wife Penny and their three daughters. He was an encouragement to many people throughout his life, loving people unconditionally. Jesse married Penny Abbs on October 15, 1955. Jesse worked for the Sunshine Mines, and was self-employed owning Dunn's Appliance Repair and retired from Sears. Jesse was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, fly tying, lounging on the patio and always had a pet dog in his home. Jesse is survived by his wife Penny (Wilda) of Meridian, Idaho; He has three daughters: Bobbi Bedigi of Riggins, ID, Dena Dodson of Vancouver, WA, and Luanne Green of Hailey, ID; grandchildren Paula, Kenny, Jesse, Micah, Mattie, Doug and Marc; several great-grandchildren: Sister, Joyce Harper; and Brothers, Kenny Dunn, Gary Dunn, and Dan Dunn. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Bud Dunn and Denzel Dunn. Memorials may be made to Church of the Nazarene. The Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at The Coeur d'Alene Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. 4th St., in Coeur d'Alene. Jesse will be laid to rest with military honors at Riverview Cemetery, also in Coeur d'Alene. English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted to handle final arrangements.
