Hern wins twice, Vikings move past Bulldogs, Hawks in dual

SANDPOINT - Kade Hern won in both the 50 yard freestyle and 100 backstroke, helping the Coeur d'Alene boys down both the Sandpoint Bulldogs and Lakeland Hawks during a tri-team swimming dual on Wednesday at the Sandpoint West Athletic Club.

"This is a difficult pool to swim in," Coeur d'Alene coach Rich Swoboda said. "The Viking blue came in and swam fast and furious."

Coeur d'Alene will face Lake City and Post Falls on Friday at the Kroc Center.
