Prep Roundup: Levora 16th at elite meet

EAGLE — Sandpoint senior Sam Levora finished 16th out of 173 competitors in 15 minutes, 59.6 seconds in the boys elite 5-kilometer race at Saturday’s Bob Firman Invitational at Eagle Island State Park.
Kyler Little was 49th in 16:35 for Lake City’s boys, who finished 21st out of 23 teams in the elite race.
Natalie Herring was 12th in the girls Division II race for Timberlake, which finished sixth out of 20 teams.

Columbia Falls wins tourney
BONNERS FERRY — Columbia Falls defeated Libby 25-20 in an all-Montana matchup in the championship game of the Bonners Ferry tournament.
For Clark Fork (3-5), which went 1-3 at the tourney, Lyndsie Kiebert finished the tournament with 18 kills and four aces. Leslie Kiebert had 70 digs for the Wampus Cats, Annie Wrum passed out 42 assists and Autumn Wagner finished with eight blocks.

North Idaho Christian wins one, loses one
Katelyn Stegman had 10 digs and Breanna Clemans nine assists as the Royals beat Country Christian 22-25, 19-25, 26-24, 25-23, 18-16 in a nonleague match in Pasco.
Sydney Lawson had seven kills and Grace Gipson had eight assists in the win.
Later, Stegman had 11 assists and Liz Bookamer had seven kills for the Royals, which lost to Christian Heritage 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-4 in a Mountain Christian League match in Edwall, Wash.
Maura Lund had 19 digs and Lawson five aces in the match for North Idaho Christian (6-3, 3-2 MCL), which hosts Kootenai Thunder on Tuesday at Venture High at 7:45 p.m.
