NIC club lacrosse team seeking coach

COEUR d'ALENE - North Idaho College student Kevin Dunaway is trying to start a club lacrosse team at his school, and is looking for a coach for the team.

Indians break all-time attendance record

SPOKANE - The Spokane Indians announced the team hit a record-breaking attendance number in the team's 110-year history by averaging 5,064 fans at each Indians home game at Avista Stadium, topping the 2007 mark of 5,053.

The Indians had seven sellouts during the 2013 season, including two games that drew over 7,000 fans. Saturday, Aug. 3 was the season's highest attendance total with 7,048 paid tickets. All in all, the Indians welcomed a total of 187,371 fans into Avista Stadium this summer with 37 openings. The total attendance number was fourth highest in the Indians' Northwest League history, and third highest nationally amongst short-season and rookie league teams this year.
