Herbert M. Miles, 91 and Edna Marie Reynolds Miles, 93

Herbert M Miles was born on January 13, 1922; he passed from this life to be with the Lord on August 12, 2013. Edna Marie Reynolds Miles was born on October 13, 1919 in Lane Montana; she left this life to join Herb and the Lord on September 13, 2013. Herb met Marie in Sandpoint Idaho while working for Bonneville Power. They were married on December 24, 1948. After living in Sandpoint a short time they moved to Missoula Montana, there Herb sold life insurance with BMA and Metropolitan Life. They moved to Coeur D’Alene in 1972 and Herb started his own Estate Planning business. Herb and Marie were active members of the Church of Christ while living in Missoula and The Gateway (formerly The Living Hope & Ironwood Chapel) in Coeur D’Alene. Their love for the Lord and for each other was evident throughout their 64 years of marriage. Herb is survived by his son Robert Miles, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Miles Alford and his grandson William J Alford. Marie is survived by 4 siblings, Jean Rheinschmidt (Robert) of Missoula, Joyce Boeck (Dale) of Sandpoint, George Reynolds (Frances) of Missoula and Donald Reynolds (Elara) of Sego. She is also survived by her stepson Robert Miles, her step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Bell Tower Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
