Blues show to benefit Crosswalk North Idaho

| September 20, 2013 9:00 PM

Enjoy some blues and help a kid who's struggling.

A concert to benefit youth in crisis served by Crosswalk North Idaho will take place Sept. 28 from 7-10 p.m. at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center.

The show, presented by the Inland Empire Blues Society, will feature Voodoo Church of Blues and Lonesome Lyle More.

All proceeds will benefit Crosswalk North Idaho's (formerly Project Safe Place) drop-in center where kids who are often homeless, impoverished or being abused or bullied, are able to find a stable, safe haven. The program provides food, clothing, homework help and a work readiness training program.

Admission is $10 and can be paid at the door, or call Brandi at Crosswalk, 457-2073.
