Coeur d'Alene Sting under-10 boys Barcelona: The Sting beat the Three Rivers Soccer Club 6-2 on Saturday. Cole Jaworski scored two goals and Kohrt Weber, Sean Dremann, Tyler Gasper and Joseph Sarkis each scored once for the Sting. Joseph Sarkis, Nik Nowak and Kohrt Weber had assists.

Sting U9 boys: The Sting defeated Manchester 12-1. Caden Thompson, Nathaniel Wyatt, Nicholas Mason and Jacob Ukick each scored two goals, and Ashton Ukick, Bryce Hall, Jandon Sternberg and Isaac Fritts each scored once.

The Sting beat the VYSA U10 team 13-2. Landon Sternberg and Nathaniel Wyatt each scored hat tricks, Isaac Fritts scored two goals, Caden Thompson, Jacob Ukick, Ashton Ukick, Darren Gosch and Bryce Hall one each.

Sting U13 girls Fire: The Sting lost to the Spokane Foxes 3-1. Ashley Neuberger scored the Sting's lone goal.

The Sting beat the Spokane Sabers 5-0. Brena Adams scored a hat trick, Ashley Neuberger and Schreyer Jones each scored once, and Hannah Hudson, Kasidy Kirking and Brena Adams each had assists. Emma Bartlett posted the shutout in goal.

Sting U12 girls Whitecaps: The Whitecaps played twice in the Seattle area, losing 1-0 to FC Crush Elite, then beating The WPFC Fury 2-0. Geneva Bengston scored both goals for the Whitecaps, and Emma Ramage and Lily Foster teamed for the shutout in goal.

Sting U11 girls Sounders: The Sounders beat Moscow United 3-0 on Saturday, as Kamryn Becker scored a hat trick.

Later that day, the Sounders tied the FC Spokane Storm (Showalter) 1-1. The Sounders' only goal was scored by Kameron Fisbeck, and goalie Alexandra Plucker had 10 saves.

Sting U10 boys Celtic: The Sting opened league play with a 10-0 victory over Three Rivers C from the Tri-Cities. Lucas Woods scored a hat trick for the Sting. Samuel McLaughlin, Daniel Dawson and Kimball Waddell each scored two goals, and Ashton Fredekind scored once. Dallin Dance, Kimball Waddell and Samuel McLaughlin teamed for the shutout in goal.

Sting U12 boys Valencia: The Sting beat the ISC Gunners 5-1 on Sept. 7. Ty Shaw and Diego McClure each scored twice for the Sting, Cameron Dance once, with assists by Sam Anderson and Cameron Mason and saves by Jacob Overoye (2).

On Sept. 14 the Sting defeated Moscow United 8-0. Goals were scored by Kyler Sorensen, Jackson Henkle, Ty Shaw (3), Cameron Dance and Braden Jackson, with assists by Cameron Mason, Drake Prohaska, Marc McClure, Sam Anderson and Jared Hoffman (2). Later that day, the Sting lost to CWSA Navy Dauer 3-2. Sting goals were scored by Sam Anderson and Drake Prohaska with assists by Ty Shaw and Jacob Overoye with three saves by Jacob Overoye.

Sting U13 boys Manchester United: The Sting beat the Kitsap Pumas 6-1 in their first home game of the fall season. Gabe Nazemi had a hat trick - two of them on headers - with teammates Paul Dempsey, Greyden Lee and Keaton Murphree each scored once. Docker Bond, Spencer Messina and Trevor Rau each had one assist. Chase Norris and Aidan Hassell each had a save.

Sting U13 girls Galaxy: In their second weekend of play in the competitive Puget Sound Premier League, the Sting opened with a 3-3 tie against Cascade FC. Sarah Swider, Katie Venera and Sydnee Rud each scored for the Sting in the second half. Sydnee Rud and Sarah Swider had assists.

Next, the Sting fell 2-0 to Tynecastle FC.

Sting U10 girls Thorn: The Sting lost to the Tri-Cities 3 Rivers A club 5-3 in Shadow League play last weekend. The Thorn's goals were scored by Amber Aittama, Isabella Lucky and Shelbie Pucci-Shriner.

Sting U11 girls Timbers: The Sting shut out Moscow 2-0 on Saturday. Claire Romero scored both goals for the Sting. Later that afternoon, the Sting beat FC Spokane 6-1. Claire Romero had a hat trick and Chloe Miller, Tate Hochberger and Bailey Mongan each scored once.

Sting U14 girls Barcelona: The Sting opened league play last weekend in the Classic 1 Division of the Puget Sound Premier League with wins over PS Slammers (Lacey, Wash.) and Wenatchee Valley United SC Real FC.

The Sting shut out PS Slammers 5-0 with goals by Payton Barber, Abigail Ellison, Kimber Burgin on a penalty kick, Megan Drake and Annica Wilson. Larissa Bailey was credited with an assist.

The Sting also blanked Wenatchee Valley 8-0 with goals by Larissa Bailey (2), Abigail Ellison (2), Annica Wilson, Payton Barber (on a corner kick from Kimber Burgin) and Megan Drake (2). Assists were made by Annica Wilson, Larissa Bailey (2) and Kimber Burgin. Alecia Rollins notched both shutouts in goal.

Idaho Thunder U11 boys (Johnson): The Thunder started their league season off with a 5-2 victory over the FC Spokane Sabers Huffman in Spokane. Caleb Calkins scored two goals for the Thunder, and Devin Logan, Logan Koller and Nathan Durocher each scored once. Devin Logan, Logan Koller and Caleb Calkins each had assists.

Sting U11 boys Sunderland: The Sting beat the Cobra Hooligans 5-1 at Hayden Meadows on Saturday. Max Anderson had a hat trick and Miles Jones and Michael Simpson had one goal apiece for the Sting. Martin Bene and Michael Simpson had three saves each in goal.

JUNIOR TACKLE

Seventh grade

Packers 33, Storm 6: Nate Burch, Logan Owens, Beau Brown, and Bryce Harris scored for the first time this season for the Packers. Eli Bowman stripped the ball for a turnover and Logan Lechot nabbed a interception for the Packers.

Coeur d'Alene Vikings 30, Post Falls Ducks 8: The Ducks scored first with a long touchdown run by Shilo Morgan. The Vikings answered when Ellis Moore intercepted a pass for a touchdown. The Vikings went on to score three more touchdowns, all by Anton Watson. Moore finished with three interceptions and kicked 3 PATs.

Sixth grade

Coeur d'Alene Jaguars 19, Post Falls Saints 2: In the first quarter the Saints pushed the Jags back on a bad snap and ended up scoring a safety. Cade McKenzie scored for the Jags on a 77-yard run.

The Jaguars' Wesley Sando scored on a kickoff return of more than 70 yards, and Cade McKenzie scored on the extra point. Ryan Rios also ran for a TD. Leading tacklers for the Jags were Cade McKenzie, Ryan Rios, Austin Jost-Schmidt and Thomas Schmidt, and Mahlon Clark and Lukas Neal each both caused and recovered fumbles.

Fifth grade

Coeur d'Alene Vikings 24, Kellogg 0: Luke McLaughlin scored twice on long runs, and Roddy Romero scored once. Ty Pottenger scored on a 15-yard pass from Jack Prka.
