THANKS: Vet gets and gives them

| September 18, 2013 11:04 PM

While having my birthday dinner recently at Red Lobster in Coeur d’Alene, two lovely ladies, noticing my World War II hat that was given to me while on the Honor Flight in June, and resting on the table, stopped to thank me for the service of my country. We then had a nice conversation of my experiences in Germany where I served for two years.

When asking our waitress, Patty, for the bill, she informed me that these two kind and caring ladies had paid for our dinner. It was a most pleasant surprise and I wish to send them my most heartfelt thank you.
