Arthur Birdsell, 90

Arthur “Wayne” Birdsell passed away in his sleep on September 12, 2013.

He was born on September 18, 1922. The 6th child of George and Edna Birdsell and was raised on the family farm.

He is a graduate of St. John High School, and attended WSU but joined the U.S. Coast Guard after the start of WWII. He met and married Mary May of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on September 5th, 1942.

Arthur and Mary were blessed with 4 children: Linda, Mike, Jerry, and Jim.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary and six of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his children; a brother, Max; a sister, Jane; ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great grandchildren.Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11am at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho.
