A 28-year-old man was killed and another person was injured following a crash on U.S. 95 south of Coeur d'Alene, about one mile north of Setters Road just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Dustin J. Mundell of Newman Lake, Wash., and Lora K. Morgan of Spokane were traveling north in a 1998 Ford Explorer when the vehicle went off the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle then overturned, coming to rest on its side on the northbound shoulder of the road.

Mundell was taken to Kootenai Health where he was pronounced dead, according to the Idaho State Police. Morgan was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where she was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon, Sacred Heart nursing supervisor David Kellogg said.

It was still under investigation as to who was driving the vehicle, the ISP said.

Seat belts were not worn, the ISP said.
