DYE, Norma “Jean” Wilson, 87

DYE, Norma “Jean” Wilson, 87, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho left this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 7, 2013 at 11:00pm. Jean was born on April 18, 1926 at 11:00pm in Custer, Oklahoma to Stella Mae Yandell Wilson and J.J. Wilson.

On her 18th birthday, she married the love of her life, Harold (Harry) Glen Dye while he was on leave from the Navy during WWII. They were blessed with two daughters, Susan Dye Agnew and Laurie Dye.

Jean is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law (Terry and Sue Agnew and Laurie Dye) ~3 grandchildren and their spouses (Danny and Carly Dougall, David and Kea Fisher, Micah and Michelle Agnew) ~11 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson-in-law (Jamie, Breanna, Grace, Noah, and Elianna Dougall; Cody and Kaeli Fisher Culpepper, Shae and Ashlyn Fisher; Gabriel, Shiloh, and Lilyanna Agnew) ~1 great-great grandchild (Camden Culpepper) ~her brother and sister-in-law (Stan and Pat Souders) ~1 uncle (Bob and Lurlene Yandell) ~as well as nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. She lived a full life surrounded by the family she cherished. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Joyce Wilson and Myrel Dye, and son-in-law, Stuart Hundley.

Jean loved to spend time with her friends and family, laughing, playing cards and games, reading, camping, gardening, traveling, baking pies, potlucks, and serving the Lord. She volunteered at Summer Youth Camp and Vacation Bible School, and was “Grandma Jean” to so many! She was a part of both Lake City Community and Pleasant View Churches and served faithfully in many areas. She will be dearly missed and cherished by all her family, church family, friends and all who were blessed to have met her.
