SPIRIT LAKE - After making a big comeback attempt in the second game, host Timberlake fell to Moscow in nonleague play, 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.

"We were actually down 15-3 in the second game," Tigers coach Michelle Garwood said. "Courtney Eaton served us back into the game. We fought with them. Moscow has some pretty big hitters. They have a sophomore who hammers the ball."

Timberlake (1-6) could not quite hold onto a 21-20 lead in the third game.

"We led the whole (third) set, but we played not to lose, instead of to win," Garwood said. "We played scared and against Moscow you can't do that. But I'm pleased with how we did."
