| September 10, 2013 9:00 PM

A wanted man from Hayden was arrested on Friday after fleeing a home wearing only his boxer shorts, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office.

Dwight I. James, 28, fled the residence in the 8900 block of West Davis Circle in Hayden across from Walmart through a downstairs window after deputies were called for wanted people being at the home.

James was seen by citizens running into Walmart in his boxer shorts.

More deputies arrived on scene and saw him flee the store wearing a sweatshirt, jeans and shoes. James was arrested down the street without further incident.

He had warrants for grand theft, three counts of burglary and being a fugitive from justice in Washington. He was charged with additional burglary and obstructing an officer after Friday's alleged incident.

James' girlfriend, Misty M. Cutburth, 19, of Hayden, was arrested at the residence on a warrant for a previous drug paraphernalia charge.

Both suspects were still being held at the Kootenai County Jail on Monday.
