Justine Regina Wuest, 90

Justine Regina Wuest, 90, of Dalton Gardens, died                Aug. 31, 2013, at her home. She was born Justine Regina Lester on July 10, 1923, in Orange, Texas, to David and Mary (Strucel) Lester, she graduated from Orange High School in Texas.

She married Otis Skinner Wuest on Dec. 14, 1946, in Karnes City, Texas. In 1972, they moved to Dalton Gardens. Justine worked at Dalton Gardens Irrigation District for five years.

Justine was a longtime member of St. Pius Catholic Church. Justine loved cooking for her large family, having a yard full of flowers, trees and hostas, gardening painting and all her many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis S. Wuest and a baby son. She is survived by their sons, Ken Wuest of Coppers Cove, Texas, Otis Wuest Jr. (Sheri) of Nixon, Texas, Robert (Linda), Jim, George (Joanna) and Tom (Erin) Wuest, all of Dalton Gardens and Joe (Dena) Wuest of Hayden; daughters, Mary (Mike) Peterson of Kenedy, Texas, Susan Kay of Great Falls, Mont., Mary Ann (Paul) Daly and Luella (Dan) Franklin of Dalton Gardens; sisters, Mary Ann Leedy and Betty Patten of Texas; brother Tom (Sherry) Lester of Texas; 35 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
