Indians end season with loss

EVERETT, Wash. - Jordan Akins and Janluis Castro had RBI singles and Ryan Cordell provided an RBI double but the Spokane Indians fell in their final game of the season, losing 9-3 to the Everett AquaSox in Northwest League baseball before 2,230 at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Everett scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh. Lonnie Kauppila and Phillips Castillo each had two RBIs for the AquaSox (44-32), who host Vancouver today to open a best-of-3 playoff series.

Spokane finishes with a 38-38 record.
