KCRR: This slate worthy of vote

| October 29, 2013 9:00 PM

Recently the word “partisan” has been cause for much consternation. Yes it was even injected into this election by the City of Post Falls when they asked a debate question about the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans involved in nonpartisan elections. Why did they allow a liberal blog to ask the questions in a community where only a third voted for Obama?

The Reagan Republicans was formed by average citizens that decided to quit complaining and try to make a difference by getting involved. We do not “have” candidates, we just support those who we agree share the most values with our namesake. Without an “R” or “D” how would you know? “Balanced” is a new word to describe those who don’t want to be known for who they are in this conservative area. How would you “balance” our support of Traditional American Values, Limited Government and Lower Taxes. With the opposite?

Cities and unions need ever expanding government and our money, that is why the Reagan Republicans are a threat to them and why they endorse our opponents. It is time that government works FOR us instead of against us. You too can make a difference by voting for our endorsed candidates. In Coeur d’Alene support Mary Souza for mayor, Chris Fillios, Noel Adam and Sharon Hebert for council. In Post Falls vote Kerri Thoreson for mayor and Barry Rubin for council.

Together we can restore the American Dream through prudent leadership.
