Frank Reed, 77

Frank E. Reed, age 77, resident of Spirit Lake, ID., passed away on Oct. 27, 2013 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, ID.Frank was born in Oklahoma, on February 15, 1936 to Jess and Nola (Pierce) Reed.

Frank proudly served his country in the US Navy. He married Audrey Dunn on September 18, 1958 in Las Vegas, NV, and they had 5 children.

He worked as a security guard for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Audrey (Dunn) Reed of Spirit Lake, ID.; 4 children: Terry Reed of Hayden, ID, Frank Reed of Simi Valley, CA., Robert Reed of Thousand Oaks, CA., and Gary Reed of Chatsworth, CA.; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Gerald Reed of Arroyo Grande, CA.; and sister Ruth Jones of Tonasket, WA..

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Nola Reed; and son James Allan Reed.

A visitation will be held on Thurs. Oct. 31 from 1-3pm, and Fri. Nov. 1 from 5-7pm at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. 4th St., in Coeur d'Alene.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Sat. Nov. 16th also at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene.

A man everyone should have known. Beloved by those who knew him as a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, and Friend. A man who served his country, loved his family, and asked nothing from anybody-- but gave everything possible to those who asked. A man everyone should have known; Heaven is a brighter place with his sterling soul.
