Ailene Glenna (ROSE) GOLM, 85, Kenmore, WA, passed Sunday, October 6, 2013.

She was born to Donald and Freda Rose, January 21, 1928. in Springston, Idaho. Surrounded by family and friends, Ailene grew up in little Harrison, Idaho, living a joyful and fun-filled life. Ailene accomplished much in her long life. She lived in her beloved Harrison as an active member of her community. In her younger years, she loved dancing, singing, cheerleading and playing basketball for the Harrison SPARTANS. After graduation she volunteered as a nurses aide during the summer as well as helping her parents in the cafe. In January Charles "Bud" Golm came to Harrison to visit his sister...and the rest is history! Another chapter in her life was beginning. She and Bud were soon married, and were blessed with 3 daughters...Diane, Rosalie & Kristene.

Ailene was an active member of her community, a tireless supporter and volunteer. Whether it involved swinging a hammer to build a float for the annual Old Timers Parade, or preparing the best dinners when she took ownership of her parents legendary Rose Cafe. She was a devoted member of the Harrison 1st Baptist Church and also of the Eastern Star's Syringa Chapter. Family and friends and the Lord were Ailene's joy. Her warm laughter, radiant smile, and sparkling blue eyes will be forever etched in our memories. She was our guiding light who led by example; she was a friend to everyone.

Ailene is survived by her three daughters, Diane (Butch) Olson; Rosalie Webster; Kristene (Stuart) Snyder; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren

Ailene's family would also like to extend a special Thank You to Spring Estates Memory Care Home, whose personnel cared for her with great compassion and love; and also to Providence Hospice for their loving guidance and support.

Ailene's Memorial service will be held November 2, 2013 11:00 AM in The Harrison Community Baptist Church, Harrison, Idaho.

Memorial donations may be offered in Ailene's name to Providence Hospice, 425 Pontius Ave N
