McEUEN: Thanks for the great park

What an exciting day for Coeur d’Alene. Hundreds of people showed up for the McEuen Park open house last Saturday for a firsthand look at what will soon become an extraordinary downtown attraction destined to benefit the entire community.

A big thanks to the estimated 1,000-plus people who visited the park to learn about the transformation and amenities from professionals and volunteers who have passionately supported this project for decades.

The feedback we received from visitors was tremendous. Comments like, “I’m going to spend so much time here,” from a bright-eyed 8-year-old Coeur d’Alene girl, to “This park will be wonderful for generations to come; we can’t wait to bring our grandchildren,” from a retired Coeur d’Alene couple. Thanks to everybody who attended!
