Brodie Joins Kootenai Board

Katie Brodie of Hayden has been appointed to the Kootenai Hospital District board of trustees. She will assume the seat held by Jim Curtis, M.D., following his recent announcement of his retirement from the board.

Following Curtis' retirement announcement, the board, following Idaho Statute section 39-1329, created a search committee to consider candidates to fulfill the remainder of his term, which expires in 2015. Brodie received the approval of the full board and will begin service at their next meeting later this month.

A longtime resident of North Idaho, Brodie served as a Kootenai County commissioner from 2004-2006. She currently works as the North Idaho special assistant to Gov. Butch Otter.
